Happy 1st birthday

Today, The Royal Twist turns one.

We would just like to thank our readers for following us in the past year, and hope you continue in the coming years. There are plenty of big royal events on the horizon for this year, which we are looking forward to observing.

Who would have thought last year, that we would end up covering two Swedish engagements in one year as we were starting up? It seemed even the sturdiest royal watcher had begun to lose hope over Victoria and Daniel. But the shock news came, and was subsequently followed by an engagement period that seemed pointlessly long to the majority. That is,  until we learned about Daniel Westling’s kidney surgery whilst Victoria was in Greenland with Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Prince Frederik.

We are looking forward to benching down for the wedding in June.
