Issue 2/2009 of Swedish magazine Queen carried an interview with Crown Princess Pavlos of Greece, it was done by Cajsa Jansson and I have translated it.

Crown Princess Pavlos gives birth to fifth child

Marie-Chantal, Crown Princess Pavlos of Greece, has given birth to her fifth child, the Greek Royal Family announced yesterday. A healthy baby boy weighing 4 kg:s saw the light of day on Sunday 29 July at 6:45 AM at the Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, the United States.

This is Pavlos and Marie-Chantal’s fourth boy after Prince Alexios (9), Prince Achilleas-Andreas (7) and Prince Odysseas-Kimon (3). The couple also has a daughter, their first-born, Princess Maria-Olympia (11). Three of the previous children were born in New York, where the couple previously had their main residence, and one in London. Why they chose Los Angeles specifically this time remains unclear but the last birth of Crown Princess Pavlos was difficult so it’s thought that they chose the best medical team they could find in the world.

The newborn baby boy is the ninth grandchild of King Constantine and Queen Anne-Marie who’s daughter Princess Alexia also has four children together with her Spanish husband Carlos Morales Quintana.
